PREFACE - In this lifetime, my earliest contacts with Astrology were vague and indistinct. I felt that the ones who first mentioned it to me were a bit 'crack-brained.'

Some years later, I read an article by one of my fa­vorite authors, that mentioned Astrology very favorably. So I decided to get a text on the subject, and prove for myself that it was not 'sound'.

01. ARIES - This very active, fiery individual is a natural pioneer. He wants to be first in everything, mental, physical and spiritual. Historically, Aries is represented by the Ram and the Phoenix bird.

Here, Aries represents the period in history from Moses to the birth of Christ. That is 2470 to 313 B. C.

02. TAURUS - This sweet-tempered and loving person is naturally obstinate and willful, badly determined and animalistic, but enduring, persevering, and has much hidden energy and resistance.

In its last transit, Taurus showered the earth with cosmic rays from 4627 to 2470 B. C. This was another earthy period, during which mankind lived in a Stone Age, starting a new upward cycle of development, after the great catastrophe that caused the obliteration of the advanced Gemini nations of Atlantis and Lemuria.

03. GEMINI - Gemini is naturally quick, nervous, and very intelli­gent. In life, has many ups and downs, and many changes of occupation, profession, and residence.

Gemini showered the earth with cosmic rays from 6784-4627 B. C. This was an Air Age, and the last Gol­den Age that mankind has known. At this time, man reached his peak of culture and scientific development, being far ahead of anything we know at the present time in invention, scientific development and culture. War was unknown.

04. CANCER - A strongly maternal, domestic, home-loving type; very sensitive, and much inclined to complain about mental and physical discomforts; broods over the past, and fears the future.

Here Cancer showered the earth with cosmic rays from 8941 to 6784 B. C. This was an emotional war-like period that preceded the Golden Age of Atlantis.

05. LEO - This stately, forceful, large-bodied person wears a magnanimous smile, but is dignified, masterful and proud. He dearly loves display, and expects adulation.

Leo showered the earth with cosmic rays from 11,098 to 8941 B.C. This was the fire age, during which time they worshipped the Sun. Baptism was by fire, and sac­rifices were made on an altar, burnt by fire. Human sacrifices were often made. The next Leo Age will occur in 14,786 to 16,943 A.D.

06. VIRGO - This quiet, modest, reserved person delights to be of service to others. Is logical but pessimistic; diligent and painstaking, a stickler for details ; almost worships clean­liness

Virgo showered the earth with cosmic rays from 13,255-11,098 B.C.

This was a lowly earth stage, a period in which man­kind worshipped crops and abundance. They were slow­ly groping upward from scratch

07. LIBRA - This beautiful person, with gazelle-like wrists and ankles, is graceful and refined; he loves luxury, and is averse to struggle, noise and strife. He loves companion­ship, but is fickle and coquettish

Libra showered the earth with cosmic rays 15,000 years ago. This was a Golden Age, during which time mankind attained a high degree of culture and wisdom. It was a war-free age, during which time men settled their differences over a plush-lined table.

08. SCORPIO - This courageous, proud, dynamic person is very det­ermined. Although large-bodied, she does not like hard work. She "knows it all", but will never admit that she is wrong! And she wants all or nothing!

Scorpio showered the earth with cosmic rays about 17,000 years ago. It was an emotional, war-like period, in which destruction was drastic.

09. SAGITTARIUS - This jovial, enthusiastic lover of out-door sports, is just and truthful, and even prophetic. Good-natured, he is a happy, springy, philosophical play-boy.

Sagittarius showered the earth with cosmic rays about 20,000 years ago. It was a period of great marathon events.

10. CAPRICORN - This quiet, patient, cautious one, is thin and bony, but a climber who builds high ! Very much self-centered, she is quite egotistical and self-esteeming. Very honest, she is also noted for her dry humor.

Capricorn showered the earth with cosmic rays about 21,000 years ago. It was an advanced Earth Age, but man was once more starting a new cycle.

11. AQUARIUS - This large-bodied person is original and unconven­tional; also truthful, frank, speedy and cheerful; and sa­crificial and philosophical. He is firm and fixed in opin­ions, but good-natured and reasonable. He makes a good companion

At the present time we are being showered with cosmic rays from the Air Sign Aquarius.

12. PISCES - This mild, retiring person is usually plump, and is often flabby. She is very adaptable and very uncertain. She dislikes work, but loves ease and comfort. She al­ways wants to help the underdog

Pisces showered the earth with cosmic rays from 313 B. C. to 1844A.D. This was a Water Age, during which time England was known as "Empress of the Seas". Wa­ter-power developed, with hydraulics, steamships, and the railroads.
