Seventh Sign of the Zodiac.
Cardinal Sign of the Air Triplicity.
Active Sign of the Reproductive Trinity.
I
This beautiful person, with gazelle-like wrists and ankles, is graceful and refined; he loves luxury, and is averse to struggle, noise and strife. He loves companionship, but is fickle and coquettish.
II — PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOXES
Libra showered the earth with cosmic rays 15,000 years ago. This was a Golden Age, during which time mankind attained a high degree of culture and wisdom. It was a war-free age, during which time men settled their differences over a plush-lined table.
In the future Libra will repeat from 10,472 to 12,629 A. D.
Ill — NATURE, CHARACTER and PERSONALITY
This happy, cordial, affable person is much beloved and much admired. Neat and artistic, he keeps things in order.
He has a deep sense of beauty and refinement, and a strong taste for the arts.
His intuition is greater than his reason; he is more emotional than intellectual; his fickleness is steadied by idealism; he reacts strongly to his environment. Peace-loving, he dislikes to quarrel and is a great peacemaker.
He has a strong tendency to inactivity, and this leads to his putting on weight.

CAPRICORN . . . very good, especially if Capricorn is the male. They understand each other, despite their different approaches to life; Capricorn's reliability and efficiency, and Libra, mistress of social graces and personal accomplishments, are to be proud of and admired; both thrive on admiration ; Capricorn has to be in the driver's seat, which is okay with Libra.
AQUARIUS ... not best: FIT mentally, but do not satisfy each other emotionally; for Libra needs praise and tenderness, while Aquarius likes an easy life, and is not inclined to go out of his way to please others.
PISCES . . . not comfortable, for Libra is bored and disgusted with misery and squalor, whereas Pisces goes out of her way to save the world from misery. Pisces takes up with everybody, whereas Libra likes interesting, good-looking, witty, and helpful people.

Here are found many musicians, literary people, judges, and astrologers.
They are often beautiful; idealists; sweet-tempered and easy to get along with; they may be too sweet, too yielding, and too anxious to please. Tender-hearted, so they cannot bear to hurt anyone. Very intellectual, but are not always fortunate.
X — CUSPIAN IN LIBRA
September 23 to October 1
This is the most powerful of all the cusps.
They are not self-starters. They are not interested enough to tackle big issues. They slumber down through the years, and let life pass them by.
They have a great sense of beauty, and love symmetry.
They have the charm of gracious living, of repose in manners, and of spiritual calm. They are aloof to petty problems, thus unruffled when everyone else is flustered. They have superb logic, and are fascinating conversationalists.
But they lack emotional intensity.
Very cautious and deliberate, so they are perfect strategists. Hence generals, like Hindenburg; politicians, like Henry McDonald; spiritual or social leaders, like Ghandi; and prominent writers, like Faith Baldwin.
Their personal attachments are very unstable.
