II — THE PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOXES
Here, Aries represents the period in history from Moses to the birth of Christ. That is 2470 to 313 B. C.
It was an age in which fire worship was prevalent. They worshipped the Sun, and the ram was sacrificed as burnt offering to the Sun in their religious rites. Baptism was an ordeal by fire.

VI — ARIES ON THE HOUSES
ASCENDANT ... is a born extrovert, who is restless and headstrong, but has no physical fear. Starts right! Is concerned with active personal leadership.
SECOND . . . tends to use his head in money matters; is able to promote anything; desires a quick turnover.
THIRD . . . has good brain capacity; is quick and impetuous in speech; desires to rush into print; the guy who blurts out, "Listen, I've got an idea !"
FOURTH ... is interested in the family and the home; admires his home the most when he is away from home. If URANUS is there, he is undisciplined, and in childhood needs constant punishment.
FIFTH . . . the born gambler of the zodiac; is rash in speculation. This gives love at first sight; gives ardor in love; is impulsive and liable to behave foolishly.
With the Sun there ... a love that overleaps itself.
Moon there ... is inconstant and fickle.
Mercury . . . much thinking about love.
Venus ... an idealist, who is refined and demonstrative.
Mars ... an audacious lover, or a ready sweetheart.
Jupiter ... is ambitious in love.
Saturn .. .is jealous.
Uranus . . . prefers unusual people.
Neptune ... (well aspected) a mystical lover, or gives a dog-like faithfulness.
(Afflicted) has erotic ideas, or has relations with people of low class.
SIXTH ... is a born inventor and explorer, without a sense of danger. The more dangerous the work is, the better he likes it!
SEVENTH ... is incompatible and a disturber of the peace; there is usually a hasty marriage, which is soon unhappy. (If feminine, with a strong horoscope . . . she will try to rule the roost!)

TWELFTH . . . instinctively psychic; is difficult to understand; will harbor resentment, and never forget an injury.
VII — HOW ARIES MATES WITH OTHER SIGNS
WITH ARIES ... too difficult, for both want to wear the trousers. Sexually, they burn each other out!
WITH TAURUS ... not good; Taurus is too sentimental, which irritates Aries very much. Aries is very independent and unsettled, and does not want to be rooted and tied down ; whereas Taurus wants a home and babies, and to settle down for good.
GEMINI . . . very interesting and inspiring; not entirely harmonious, but Aries is a burning bush, and is never dull; this suits Gemini, who hates monotony; and Aries' self-assurance has a good influence on Gemini.
CANCER . . . doubtful; the fiery ways of Aries do not agree with Cancer's quiet, reticent attitude towards life. Cancer is domestic, while Aries hates to be tied down.
An Aries man and a Cancer woman may be possible, but not vice versa. Aries is a fiery lone wolf, while Cancer is quiet, reticient, emotional and domestic.
LEO ... not easy; fine playmates, good chums and great sweethearts; but beware of the everyday, humdrum life of marriage. Aries goes through life quite undisturbed, detached, and unaware of when and how he hurts Leo's feelings, and they are easily hurt; and Aries can never give the adulation that Leo needs to be happy in the long run.
VIRGO . . . extremely difficult; Aries is a born trail-blazer, impulsive and impatient; Virgo is conservative and cautious; Aries needs advice, but hates nagging and pressure; Virgo likes to plan other people's lives and give advice; Aries is the life of the party; Virgo is shy and retiring.
LIBRA ... possible, but difficult; Aries can be a charmer when he wants to, but tires of it, while Libra wants to be coddled, spoiled, and waited upon. Both are good sports, interested in music, arts, etc.; but in marriage, the natural adaptability of Libra would have to decide the issue.
SCORPIO . . . stormy; both are proud and bossy, and each is extremely capable alone; both have too many potentialities to make the equation come out even.
SAGITTARIUS ... a good match (?), but with more fun than stability. Both are enthusiastic, full of ideas, plans and good intentions; but Sagittarius is a grand joiner . . . the more people around the better; whereas Aries doesn't give a hoot for group activities, and can even do without people altogether; and so this is likely to end with .each one going their own way; and this often proves to be the most satisfactory to both of these unsentimental types.
CAPRICORN ... difficult, but interesting; both are born leaders and executives; Aries goes through life carefree, detached and independent, while Capricorn is conservative, class conscious, and matter-of-fact; Aries likes a good fight, while Capricorn prefers to settle things deliberately.
Life together is likely to be a mixture of storm and sunshine.
AQUARIUS . . . mutually beneficial; BOTH are independent and unconventional; both love travel and adventure ; both like to go their own way with people, and the interests of their own choice; Aquarius likes to read and meditate, while Aries loves to do things.
PISCES . . . too difficult; Aries' independent roaming ways frighten Pisces, who has dreamy, easy-going disposition. Pisces' lack of action gets on Aries' nerves. The only chance of success rests on Pisces' adaptability.

IX — SATELLITIUM IN ARIES
With a star cluster in Aries, we have a self-starter who seldom finishes; who starts in one line, then changes to another; a pioneer, with courage and bravery, he likes the go-ahead things in life.
He wants to be important, or to rule. So this often raises him up in life, and gives him prominence in his early years. But he is very much inclined to be flighty or erratic.
X — A CUSPIAN IN ARIES
March 21-30
This favors the male.
Both. Optimistic, idealistic, honest. Lavish in generosity, gracious hospitality; sympathetic with the underdog.
A lady. She lacks the petty foibles of femininity, but has a man's managerial and executive ability.
She will run the roost, for she cannot play second fiddle.
Lady of low caste. Vain, and boasting of her pretty nose, legs, etc. Very jealous, is very mean to other girls, while being overly kind to her mate.
Unevolved man. A blustery bully, who is very weak when opposed.
XI — CONCLUSION
Thus, Aries is the rugged pioneer, who wants to push ahead, think independently, live independently^ and even be very independent
